"68(3) Fail to give way to pedestrian at 'stop' sign at a place
69(3) Fail to give way to pedestrian when turning at 'GIVE WAY' sign at intersection not roundabout"
... are "life endangering offences".

This document repeatedly says drivers must give way to all pedestrians when at a stop or give way sign.
But maybe there are old, and the national rules have taken over? I dunno. I'll keep giving way to all pedestrians in any case
Edit: found the national rules!
(3) If there is no traffic light-stop sign at the intersection, the
driver must give way to vehicles and pedestrians at or near
the intersection in accordance with rule 72 or 73 as if the
intersection were an intersection without traffic lights, or a
stop sign, stop line, give way sign or give way line.
(1) A driver turning at an intersection with traffic lights must
give way to:
(a) any pedestrian at or near the intersection who is
crossing the road the driver is entering; and
(4) If the driver is turning left or right or making a U–turn, the
driver must also give way to any pedestrian at or near the
intersection who is crossing the road, or part of the road, the
driver is entering.
(3) The driver must give way to any vehicle or pedestrian at or
near the stop line or stop sign.
.... and so on and so forth.
