personally Im sick of hearing these stories. Not sick of the posters posting about it but sick of AS not honoring AS elites on an AS flight. To me its down right disgraceful and disrespectful to their frequent fliers. No where does it say on the list of elite benefits that you have to "book" the flight at AS to use your benefits.
* Subject to availability. Qualifying Mileage Plan number must be in the reservation. Certain restrictions apply
.
yet they completely fail to state what restrictions there are. How would it screw up the Delta part of the flight? Just more Same thing I hear from time to time that AA doesnt have a U class and if you are in U on an AS connecting flight the reservation will cancel. Thats not true either, I do AA connections all the time that have AS segments in U class with no issues. They even show it on their site!
