Since I was the one who gave you the bad news in an earlier post here regarding Liberty Mutual, I will give you a brief update of what is going on thus far.

I have talked to Cindy at Liberty Mutual. I believe she is a supervisor. Anyway, she realizes that there are a lot of people who are upset with this situation. She did say that Liberty Mutual isn't "authorized" to credit our account with AAdvantage Miles because of state laws and regulations.

So, she has called American Airlines to see if they can fix this dilemma. She is now awaiting for American Airlines to call her back. She did asked if I could be patient while they try to resolve this situation.

I told her what upset me the most was not being told while the "Counselor" and I were doing the quote. He knew right off the bat what state I was from but failed to mention the state restrictions for the AAdvantage Miles. Also, he knew up front that I was solely interested in doing the quote because of the miles.

Maybe things will work out. I am going to give her a call tomorrow. Will try to keep everyone posted on the latest.
