If you purchased a ticket to LIM but are contemplating onward destinations, I just came across LIM-GRU for $227 RT all-in on TAM. Fare basis is SYG2TBR, which seems to be eligible for United earning as far as I can tell.

In my scanning over the past few months the fares to Brazil have been pretty consistently in the $400s, so this a pretty good deal.
