Oh I much prefer the Buckhorn and The Fort to a chain like Fogo de Chao.
The Buckhorn is the oldest restaurant in Denver and The Fort is a reproduction of Bent's Fort in S/E Colorado. Both have lots of game and a good, western atmosphere. The Fort has a more upscale feel, the Buckhorn feels like an old West Saloon...since it is.
If wanna try something different try the yak at the Buckhorn. I found it really tasty.
