I once again would urge one and all to beware of Priceline. I had a pretty lousey experience in Seattle. I still cringe at what they presented as 3-star!!
The key is to do your homework before you bid.
I have just seen far to many people do their homework first and then reap the bennies of bidding.
One who stayed in an upgraded 5 star suite in London that had a going rate of $800 a night and they paid approx $100 or a little more.
Great 4 star hotels in Amsterdam where bidders are saving $200-350 a night off going not rack rates.
Its a little like high school. Those that do their homework get better grades.
