Yeah that's a lie. Called agent yesterday before flying YYC-FRA to upgrade the return FRA-YYC. She says "you have to wait one more day". I said "well, it is already tomorrow in FRA since there is a 8-hour time difference". She said "OK, the system let me do it, that's fine"...
