Simply put, we're happy with the status quo, and if AS is going to change that, they certainly aren't taking our opinions into consideration (since we're happy with the status quo). So I see the question as irrelevant.

I also think AS isn't likely to choose sides without a hostile takeover, since management's been quite clear that they like being independent. Either a takeover by AA or DL would be a disaster- neither have shown any competency at running a N-S network on the West Coast.
