I dont like both alliances, because earning EQMs on partner carriers is complicated and ridiculous. You can't earn miles in most classes on many carriers, which I do not like...

Star on the other hand is far more flexible when it comes to mileage accrual on partner carriers. Yes, there are some [few] restrictions, but not as restrictive as OW or ST alliance partners.
