Seatguru indicates that the Executive Class seats on the 777-200ER are actually horizontal flat seats, but I didn't think JAL had a completely flat (i.e. horizontal) business class seat.
I was under the impression that the seats were pretty similar to the QF Skybed (MK 1).
Can anyone clear this up for me? Also, if you had the choice of flying in and out of Europe via LHR, CDG or AMS, which would you choose and why?

You are correct. You will have
Shell Flat on both 777-200ER and 777-300ER on European flights. This is the previous generation business class seat.
777-300ER has F while 777-200ER doesn't...if you are hoping for (or dreaming of
) op-up, then 773 is the only chance
But on the other hand, if JAL switches to a 773 on your route and sell that as a 2-class flight, you may be able to sit in F if you have status and receive C service
But I wouldn't count on either of these to happen...so it all comes down to which flight schedule works best for you (all 3 ex-NRT flights have the same menu but your outbound will have different menus).
