Max Power, in response to your comments.

1. Thank you for your comments, in response to my comments.

2. Although much of the services you describe can be done through a cellular phone (including email), or other portable devices (including the RIM device in North America), the question is whether these devices yet allow for Internet access, or not. Whatever the answer to the last question, is another reason that lounges offer less customer-friendly access to the Internet, compared to the MLL, because Europeans surf the web much less frequently than North Americans? - therefore, this service is not a high priority for business travellers there?

3a. Max Power - I am confused - how does one access North American toll-free numbers from the Swiss phone system - unless you are talking about an access code to reach SuperElite Aeroplan (and also reservations too?) toll-free numbers, similar to the access code we (Elites) have to reach to toll-free Aeroplan number, from Switzerland?

3b. As an Elite member, I have access to some toll-free Elite (Aeroplan) numbers from abroad, including one from Switzerland. As an Elite member, I do not have access to a direct toll-free reservations number from Switzerland, unlike SuperElites?

Calling the reservation number is North America, I have been offered 2 options: calling the 514 number in Montreal, via the Canada Direct operator, or calling the toll-free Aeroplan Elite number (eg from Switzerland), and asking them to transfer me to the Reservations number (ie I believe the AC Aeroplan and Reservations people are in the same building in Montreal?).
