My mother and I did encounter bedbugs early one AM with little time before the airport shuttle came; all those Ziplocs and Eagle Creek vacuum bags were lifesavers! We were able to isolate contaminated sleepwear from other stuff; any hitchhiking critters were sealed up.
I have tried several types of commercial vacuum bags; Eagle Creek's are by far the most reliable/durable. I never travel without plenty of both Ziplocs & Eagle Creek bags.
