Are you perhaps thinking of what was the old "W" -- farther up the beach and closer to Diamond Head?
The three hotels are all very close together. From the direction of Diamond Head, the Westin Moana Surfrider comes first, then the Royal Hawaiian, and right next to it is the Sheraton Waikiki.
Here's a map that includes them. Moana is #50 and the Royal and Sheraton are #42 and #41, respectively.
