I have over 20,000 miles in my Alaska Airlines account. I was wondering if there was some way that these miles can be transferred into my AAdvantage account?

I know American Airlines is one of the many partners of Alaska Airlines. However, I would prefer to have the miles all in one place.

Have any of you ever redeemed miles at Alaska Airlines for the use of an American Airlines ticket(s)? Was this easy to do?
