I have family on AA award tickets, BA to LHR (long haul) and then AA LHR to USA during the strike date.

I just got off the phone with AA, and they said AA HQ is working with BA HQ as we speak but no plans of protection announced as of this time; i.e. they are not switching for free now. She did suggest to check back later in the evening or tomorrow morning.

I think since the ticket was issued via AA; we have to go back to AA for getting the tickets changed. Does anyone know for sure?
