Am currently at this hotel on a one week stay while taking a short course in Singapore. This is my first stay in more than a decade.
Unlike the above posters, I am not overwhelmed by either the club or the service here, although I was upgraded to a room category called "Grand Suite" which is a smallish but decent suite.
Note if you have a mobility problem that apparently the only way to reach the RC is to walk up a flight of stairs -- the club is on the 21st floor but the lifts only go to 20. I asked if there was an alternative way of getting to the club and was told no.
I suppose since this is a huge hotel that it's unreasonable to expect any level of personalized service, and no personalized service is what I got. It does seem like the club stuff could make an effort -- they do at the GH HK which is equally huge -- but they don't.
Still, the daily room charge is noticeably lower than in HK, at least currently, so I'd say that it's decent value for money. And while the service is not personalized, it definitely is capable. At current price levels, I would stay here again.
