Just received the letter from Amex that I have spent 200k and are now allowed to fly forhalf price to any SK destination for half the points (for two).

I noticed that nothing is mentioned about from which SK destinations that this offer is valid, so I guess from and to any SK destination.

according to eurobonusregulations 130.000 points are nedded from region 7 (US) to region 8 (asia) in business. Also, a free stopp is allowed.

So, my thought is as follows:

get a cheap return ticket to US departure in for example december 2010 and return june 2011.

then make a reservation for in C from US to CPH in january.

make a stop in CPH until april

in April continue the trip CPH-BKK stay a couple of weeks and then BKK-CPH all in C and a new stop in CPH

in summer, fly back in C to the States , a few days in ORD/EWR or IAD and then fly back home with the cheap ticket I have bought earlier.

according to my estimations the I only pay 65000 points for this all in C and an additional 5-8k for a return trip to US in Y.

am I missing anything?
