I agree with bugayev. You have virtually no chance. Customs could take a long time depending upon whether there is a flight in front of you or not. There's no "special" line for those with connecting flights. If you try to push ahead, I imagine the Aussie customs inspectors will try to jam a microscope up your bum and check everything in your luggage when it finally is your turn in line.
