I am an Admirals Club regular using my TWA AC card and it's a great place to hang during the stop overs and delays. Also, the counter is a GREAT added bonus. I would say if you fly ~10 times a year it is worth it. Personally I am going through the same decision making process and have decided that the miles are way to valuable. I will spend the money for the renewal and keep my miles for other uses.
