I will travel to London intermittently over the next months and I am looking for a good pay-as-you-go mobile data card option. My roaming Vodafone card would cost 14EUR/24hr/50MB, and I found in UK some interesting options:
- Vodafone - 15GBP/3GB/30days. I would not reach 3GB, but I will not use it more than few days per month (max 10).
- TMobile - 2GBP/day or 7GBP/7 days. No traffic limit, access to Tmobile wifi hotspots for free.

They all ask for ~25GBP for the modem, and I wonder if I can use my existing Vodafone data card, and just replace the SIM card. Would it only work with Vodafone?

If I need to buy a new modem in any situation, is Tmobile working well? For me it would be more flexible, to pay 7GBP for 4-5 days of actual usage.
