Bluesky, I believe that the seats were blue and grey in the mid-80's (i.e. rows of blue seats and rows of grey seats). I remember very well the "bird's eye view" of the take off and landings on the DC10's. If you do a search there was a thread on this under the AA forum. I believe that the safety demo was shown on video equipped a/c on the screens. Don't know how old my oldest AA timetable is. I do know that I have an old Eastern and old Pan Am timetable. Also, a frist class seat occupied sign from Piedmont.
