My wife and I have had multiple stays at the Prince de Galles in Paris paid for by SPG Amex points. In fact we're going back there next week. Using points to pay for the rooms (actually we always get a junior suite) has saved us serious money over the years. We've also used the points to pay for stays in Mexico. This card has worked well for us.
