Flights to Brazil could be turbulent sometimes, but normally flight is smooth so dont worry. It will take you about 45min from GRU to your hotel which is located in a nice area around Jardins, with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Enjoy!

DL has its own dedicated lounge in GRU which is spacious and has complimentary drinks and variety of snacks.
