Capital One Rewards Checking vs Capital One Venture Card
What are everyone's thoughts on opening a Capital One Rewards Checking account versus obtaining a Capital One Venture rewards card?

From the looks of it, it seems that the Venture card is preferrable. The fine print on the checking account seems to categorize the travel redemption rewards whereas the Venture card is just a straight forward multiple of your points balance...

Thoughts?
