Maybe not yet (and with this math, why stop it??). I just got a letter (dated 28 August) and a brochure (dated 0801) to explain the program (sans math). Cost is 51c/domestic mile on both the 2 year and the 5 year, which is absurd.
New to me, it has a multiplier for non-US/CA/MX/Caribbean flights: to South America, you pay 45% (or 23c/mile) in Y, 75% (38c/mile) in J and 125% (64c/mile) in F; other international is 80% (41c/mile) in Y, 130% (66c/mile) in J and a whopping 185% (94c/mile) in F.
And, surprisingly, you can't use your AAdvantage credit card to pay for it (or any other credit cards). Seems very ridiculous that they wouldn't accept one of their own payment products.
