I don't understand why BA make it so difficult to claim missing miles. When we did our family trip to SFO in the New Year all outbound journeys posted correctly, but none of the return journeys did. Why if you are booking a Qantas flight can you just put in flight number and date and that's it when it's a BA journey you need the ticket number as well? Surely it should be easier for BA to find a passenger on its own system? I ended up having to call GGL as they didn't post without manual intervention.
