I can't seem to find a link relating to this question: If you used Delta SkyMiles to book a MR hotel stay, would you still get MR points and respective benefits that tie to your MR elite status assuming that you give them your MR #? This is also the assumption that you don't even transfer your Delta SM to MR points.
