Having done my UA mileage run for 2010, I'd rather fly AC where I can be guaranteed to be up near the front of the plane instead of having a great view of the rear lavatory.

Weird that UA gives me perks on the ground yet assigns me seats in the last or second-last row of the aircraft when doing online reservations.
