6.5 years ago when I bought my first BR piece, Executive Expandable Briefcase (which they no longer make my model), I've never heard of the BR brand, as I think they were still fairly new. The luggage sales man told me about the warranty infomation and I liked the features, so I bought it. I still use the same bag, it's gots some bruises here and there, but it's still in great shape.

So I totally agree that they were not too heavy in the marketing and promotion of their units, but more word of mouth. Occasional sales here and there, you still don't see much marketing from them. Don't even think they have a store. I do know they will start to sell some of their line in Bloomingdales.

I've stayed with this brand, and bought suit cases as needed. As I said before, it's an investment. For those who travel once or twice a year, I'd say, go get cheap. But, those who travel more often than they want, you'll love the overall results.
