If the agents are busy, I hold my card up as I walk past the desk into the lounge. If they want to look at it more closely, they'll motion to me to do so -- usually, however, if they're with another passenger, they're too busy to do more than nod at me.

If the agents are not busy, I'll hand the card to them for their review.

I never show the EXP card if I'm just trying to get in.
