I have also used the benefit a few times in the past year - not as much as prior to this year, but enough to make me glad I've had it.
Don't assume this is a benefit that is only important in a bigger city. I've used this for the AOO CY, where the lack of decent hotels would create an even bigger issue than having to dig for a room in Chicago or NYC. I have had to use it at the AOO CY twice!
