(I did a search on this topic but couldn't find anything posted...)

It was with some interest I booked some flights MEL-SYD-CBR/CBR-MEL on QF and was waiting to be able to use the domestic seat assignment feature on my booking(as had been mentioned in a recent email newsletter from QF, and is included as "NEW!"(shiny!) in the online help as being available).

Well waited for the eticket receipt to hit my mailbox, then went to manage my booking. What? No change seats icon??! I managed to upgrade MEL-SYD without incident(yay!) but.... still no "change seats" icon.

The flights are a week away (QF online help says it's open to plat/gold/silver/QC members prior to 3 hours before flight) so as far as I can tell I should qualify. They are all QF flight nunbers (no JQ) though 1 is a DH8/QF* sector, which may or may not be an issue.

Anyone had the online seats thing work for them yet?
