Has anyone recently flown this route? Is there any difference in the aircraft from ATL or JFK that would make me choose one over the other? How's the flight in J? IS the food worth eating? Normally I try to avoid eating that late. Is it possible to get any sleep in the Delta recliner? I hear crossing the equator is a bit bumpy, are these flights ever smooth? I'm not a deep aircraft sleeper so moderate turbulence will usually wake me.

While not specific to Delta or Skymiles has anyone stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental in Sao Paulo?
