As an interesting followup to your post, I have seen the NOR1 upgrade offers several times lately and I would say that maybe only 1 in 3 offers me a free upgrade option as a Diamond member, most ask between $15 and $50 for even the lowest level upgrade. And so far experience seems to show me that no pay = no upgrade, even if that is my preference, unless I was able to select a $0 upgrade.
