I can see where both people are coming from. On the one hand the guy that had the problem was probably freaking out (which I probably would too) and may not have been able to see the exact problem. On the other hand, I dont think it is the FA duty to "inspect" said area. I do agree though that they could have asked if there was a doctor on board.
