I can already feel the "ickiness" coming on from the Eden Roc. I would have stayed elsewhere, but, that is where they put the convention and the rooms were priced right. There are worse places to stay in South Beach than the Eden Roc.
I am afraid of the Setai... not sure why. Reading about it, people refer to it as a tomb. I can see the richness of the property from photos, but I am one who tends to go for brighter colors and an older world feel like a lot of Ritz Carltons provide.

I am going to call my vituoso travel agent about this - wondering if there are any Setai deals. She will probably kill me because she LOVES the Ritz Sobe. I personally do think the pool area at RCSB looks small, dumpy and motelish and the rooms look a bit tired and yucky. I was going for the beach, spa and Sunday brunch... but now that everyone is echoing Setai... I MUST listen! Thanks!
