Incidentally, has any non-US FB Gold member encountered problems accessing lounges in the US? Reason I ask is that "Elite Plus" status is only offered to golds with non-US addresses: our friends across the pond have to reach Platinum to get the "Plus" suffix (and thus lounge access).

I could also invert the question, I suppose: has any US-resident FB Gold ever managed to access an AF/KL lounge in Europe? (I think the dragons at AMS would probably spot it, though, as they are famously thorough!)

In my (quite brief) period as FB Gold, I was certainly allowed in the AM lounges in MEX and MID (although, at the former, the dragon had to think for a while and do some checks on the machine).
