Thanks for your comments all, I'm not sure what fare class it was booked in but I think it may have been T. T is available on the requested flights too.

I believe BA are checking the content of my initial calls to see where I was told this. Fingers crossed, and it's a case of wait and see.

Interestingly my ex-g/f rang yesterday after I had told her about this mess, and her booking still has the original value. Very odd.

I'm hoping it'll get resolved soon. I've always found BA to be great in the air, but not so great with administration. Sigh.
