BA is excited to announce the start of an 8th weekly flight between London and Sofia. In response to customer demand, this flight is timed to arrive at 3.45 in the morning, ensuring friends and relatives meeting the flight get no sleep at all and those requiring taxis will have to pay 3 times the normal fare. Being one of the last flights to depart T5 in the evening, this flight will always leave from the farthest gate in the B terminal, despite there being plenty of empty A gates available. Service on board will include a meal for our Club Europe passengers (no hot towels, no menus, no nuts, no magazines - we stopped them ages ago to save 50p per passenger) and a similar meal (served in plastic containers to differentiate our product offering) for our Eurotraveller passengers. Meals service will be completed 10 minutes after the captain has turned off the seat belt signs, and meals trays snatched back from you, so that the cabin crew can turn up the temperature, ensuring that you sleep the rest of the way, and the crew can sit down and rest/gossip/read Hello!, as they hate working overnight flights.
