I was very impressed with my second journey in CE on Saturday. It was only a short two hour trip to Oslo, with 16 passengers in the CE cabin.

Every passenger was addressed by name each time one of the crew spoke to us. One attendant came around and took aperitif orders, before delivering the drinks one row at a time. Food orders were taken and delivered in a similar manner. Drinks orders were also taken and delivered individually. Because we were travelling at lunch time there was actually a fairly decent meal, with lots of offers of bread to go with it.

It's the sort of service I'd come to believe didn't exist any more from some of the comments on this forum, but I was very happy to discover this crew delivered - a welldone has already been sent.

Given the bigger seats, the quite of the cabin and the lounge access at LHR as well as the excellent service on board, the upgrade to CE was very much worth it for me. The only disappointment was not being able to sit with my travelling companion as there were no pairs of seats left at T-24.
