New to this forum so forgive me if I don't know all your clever acronyms and stuff.

I am about to start flying a reasonable amount again after a few years fairly static. My previous FFP (see what I did there? I'm learning) memberships have lost all status and I've used (or expired) most of my existing miles, so effectively starting from scratch. I'll be flying between NZ and Europe once/twice a year (discount economy) plus a fair few domestic/intra-Europe flights. I won't be clocking up all that many miles (I reckon about 20 - 25,000 annually) so am not too bothered about redemption but *G status would be very useful (so that I don't need lounge passes in future).

Am I right in thinking that Asiana is probably the best club for me, what with only requiring 40,000 miles over 2 years to get *G?
