Yep, vote with your $$$. As I've said a few times on this board, I think the use of turboprops on flights like EWR-RDU is just plain terrible (flights take a little longer, more turbulence, no FC, flights more likely to get severely delayed or cancelled, etc.). I used to fly EWR-RDU several times a year, but unless I can snag the every-once-in-a-while ERJ or --gasp!-- a mainline flight, I fly out of LGA or JFK on another carrier.
In fact, this is one of the reasons I've dropped from Gold to Silver...
