I'd definitely not stay at the airport. The Sheraton might be fine for a WX or MX emergency but not a place one wastes time voluntarily.

If you have too many goodies to haul them by train conveniently, the taxi ride to and from the city also is quite cheap and then you get to stay in a walkable city.
