The *A rules state that if you aren't flying business or first, you need to present your FFP card. AC, LH, and LX (among others) are known for enforcing this requirement pretty strictly. So you are entitled to access but only with your UA 1P card.

Even for their own elites, showing the card is generally the first thing they go for. Although I've been able to work around them if I misplaced it.
