As others have said, do you need to fly somewhere? Or is it more important you have cash?

Bottom line, 25K miles can be worth more than $500, or as little as $100, based upon season, availability, and city pair you would apply those miles to.

Of course, the miles are useless if you don't plan on flying. If that's the case, take the cash and put it to something else.
