United Premier Exec Denied Lounge Access at YVR?
Aren't UA Premier Exec's granted lounge access on all international flights?

Yesterday, the attendant at YVR's Maple Leaf lounge denied access because I didn't have my "Star Gold Card" even though "Premier Executive" was clearly printed on my boarding card? Efforts to explain that Premier Executive is Star Gold fell upon deaf ears (she thought Premier Executive was a fare class!).

What gives?
