Points and cash is great for me as all my hotel stays are for pleasure and none for business so what I do earn can be easily topped up and as my wife and I like to go to London a lot, it is a cheaper way to get a hotel room for way under a £100 a night, I have also booked many a room for special event rates using points (we like to go to the races) and have managed to bag HIX Cheltenham for 15000 points a night instead of £400 a night...yes £400 for the Cheltenham festival, a king suite in the CP Liverpool for 25000 instead of £380 a night for the Saturday the main day for the Grand National meeting and HIX Epsom for the Derby at 15000 points a night instead of £179

for me it has been great and would hate them to withdraw it.
