2012 is a long way away and PC points are relatively easy to come across - Hilton luckiest loser, the new multipartner promos, a credit card sign-up bonus etc. Use 100% points for your NYC stay and, if you're lucky, you'll have enough for 2012 when it comes around. And if not, use cash and points then.
