If the res system booked it, then it would be doable and a legal connection. But, as martin33 notes, that doesn't mean a thing if the flight gets delayed by headwinds, or a late departure. As long as you are on a single ticket, then you should be covered for rebooking. However, if these trips are booked under two separate files and issued as separate tickets, with restrictions on each, you may find yourself having to cover your own costs should you miss your onward connection.
