Nice hotel in terms of a European Holiday Inn BUT is well outside the historic center for Florence - I stayed there for the car parking and not wanting to risk the inner driving charge/toll. What you can do is catch a very handy bus just outside for a few euros (they sell tickets at reception) that gets you into the historic center fairly quickly. Just be aware the return stop is in a different at area to the drop off in the city.
